Menu for the Week
Not really a post - just a place for you to leave comments about the menu in
the side bar... And give a preview of what we're eating!
For the week of June 29 the menu features Melon with Ham, Slow-Roasted Salmon Salad, Lettuce with Warm Chevre, Lamb and Vegetable Kebabs, good ol' Barbecued Chicken with American Potato Salad, an easy, do-ahead 4th of July picnic.
The photo? My favorite summer lunch: just picked strawberries with white peaches and vanilla yogurt.
Dessert for lunch...and healthy enough to not feel guilty about it!

Strawberries and yogurt is my favorite for a lunch or dessert.

I love the strawberries. It's the season for them here in Halifax too. I'm hoping to find some at the farmer's market on Saturday. Thanks for sharing

I tend to forget about these easy fruit and yoghurt combinations. I'll have to think about adding those for dinners next (school) year!

Tanna, I love having 'dessert' for lunch..especially if it's healthy
Ruth, my strawberries are the 'everbearing' kind so I never get a lot but almost always have enough for my lunch every other day!
Betty, I tend to do 'Spanish' style desserts (when I do them) which are fruit, yogurt or both. Trying to get the old 5-a-day! ;-)

Tamami, sometimes in summer I eat it for breakfast and lunch, both. So many luscious fruits.. Thanks for stopping by!
